On November 25th, 2014, the Center presented\u00a0the second\u00a0iteration of LOCI Food Lab<\/a>\u00a0in Edinburgh, both on the street and the in the Scottish Parliament.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This edition of LOCI was a collaboration with chefs Ben Reade and Dave Crabtree-Logan (co-founders of\u00a0The Scratch Series<\/a>), both\u00a0recently arrived back in Scotland. Ben after a stint at\u00a0Nordic Food Lab<\/a>\u00a0while Dave recently returned from working in Portland, OR in the US.<\/p>\n

The LOCI Food Lab: Edinburgh project was one outcome of the Nil By Mouth<\/a> talent development program, which invited four artists to explore food, farming, science and sustainability through a series of collaborative residencies and workshops. The project is set in the context of the Scottish Government\u2019s Strategic Research Program (SRP) and was designed and managed through a partnership between the\u00a0Crichton Carbon Centre<\/a>, Creative Scotland<\/a> and Wide Open<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n
