{"id":2791,"date":"2014-04-24T00:52:02","date_gmt":"2014-04-24T00:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/genomicgastronomy.com\/?page_id=2791"},"modified":"2020-08-28T10:26:49","modified_gmt":"2020-08-28T10:26:49","slug":"the-library","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/genomicgastronomy.com\/work\/2014-2\/the-library\/","title":{"rendered":"The Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Center for Genomic Gastronomy\u2019s Libraries<\/strong>&nbsp;are traveling archives that popup and unpack to display a collection of books, prints, objects and videos of CGG\u2019s work to date.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>The original Library was designed as a shipping crate to be shipped any where in the world and easily assembled. It contained two-dimensional, three-dimensional and moving image pieces. This library also included a \u201cProjects Booklet\u201d that functions as a reference guide to the library.&nbsp;The container was fabricated in collaboration with&nbsp;<a style=\"color: #998675;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.matthewmatthewmatthew.com\/\">Matthew Williams<\/a> in Portland, Oregon and originally installed at&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/vida.fundaciontelefonica.com\/en\/peoples-choice-award\/\">VIDA 15.0: Art &amp; Artificial Life<\/a> exhibition after the Center was awarded the VIDA People\u2019s Choice award in 2013.
